![]() ![]() I have looked in ~/.local/share/applications and see all the. I had actually seen that thread and tried some of the things the writer had done. I am still running Fallback, but there are a few tips here on panels and icons that might help. Is it possible to get the panels I had before rather than the default ones? When I first got my panels to appear, they were just as they were in Precise. Unfortunately, when I was struggling to get my panels visible, all my shortcut launchers disappeared. I must execute gnome-panels to get them to show up. Secondly, when I boot, my panels do not appear. The menus were changed from what I had in Precise, so I am trying to get them back to the way they were. In fact, I am not sure if there is a correlation between what I see through the Applications menu from the panel and what I see when I open Applications>System Tools>Preferences>Main Menu. Finally, if I add new menus using Main Menu, they do not appear when I access Applications on my panel. Also, I cannot assign an icon to any new menus I create. ![]() This does not work for me after upgrading. Except for two problems, things have worked okay to date.įirst, in Precise, if I wanted programs to show in a different menu under the Main Menu, all I needed to do was drag the program icon from the right side to the menu on the left. I just upgraded from Precise 12.04.5 to Trusty 14.04.1 and I am using Gnome Flashback (I think that's the correct name for it now). ![]()
